FS: Baer Brakes setup $1150obo

Front Kit Only! 2 piece rotors. Only have 2500mi on them at most.

These are coming off the ls1 truck...i want to use my own c5 kit instead.

Pretty sure this is a $1500 front setup....i do not have receipts for them though. Feel free to correct me if i'm mistaken/wrong.

$1150obo will take the complete setup. Lines, brackets, calipers, rotors, pads, and spindles.....everything to make this a complete bolt on affair.

maybe zinc coated, not ceramic. Unsure...but maybe someone else can chime in. These were on the truck when i bought it, and i'm looking to go a different route.

maybe $1700 shipped sounds more appetizing.

Do you have any close up of the brakes. Also what size are the rotors.

i can take closeups this weekend. I think they are 13 front and 12 rear...but i will verify tomorrow evening.

I think you are close on the price, I have the track kit 13" front and 12" rear. I know my front kit was a little less than those but you have the 2 piece rotors correct?

I know the 2 piece rotors are lighter and cost more.

They sure look good. :tup: I love looking at mine and hope to install them soon.

I know mine are zinc coated, but again mine are the 1 piece rotors so they may be different.

I have this same exact setup on my Typhoon - I love it.

Still have to hookup the e-brake stuff.

Baer Tracker kit - fits nice/installs easy.

Bump for a great mod for our trucks!!

I know mine 2 Piece 13" (Eradispeed) baer and 1 piece rear 12" discs were zinc coated.

ok took some more pics last night....

This was the first time i opened the boxes for the rear brakes. Apparently they are just C5 rear brakes!?!? Can anyone confirm this? I had one person tell me that their baer brake kit that they got also just came w/ C5 rears. I was a bit surprised by this, as i wasn't expecting used parts cut off a corvette :roll:

obviously i will revisit the price of the kit now.

My rear BAER brakes setup were also C5's but altered by BAER and also delivered with drilled-vented discs.

My Baer rear 12" Tracker kit looks identical to DutchyTy's kit.

I don't know what you got there Reny - sure doesn't look like genuine Baer stuff.

Yours looks like just stock Vette stuff.

i know, and said, that this is just stock C5 rear stuff. Just trying to validate that this is a full baer kit or not. I guess i'll just sell the fronts as baers and use the rears to make my rear c5/c6 kit. no biggie.

I had a Baer front kit on the front of my Typhoon that took all the same hardware as a C5 vette. I believe its all the same just with the Baer name stamped on it

Your probably not going to like this, but the rears look like LS1's cut directly off the car at the axle tubes.

As far as your front calipers - they are not Corvette (or Camaro). They do resemble the F-body calipers, as the fins are shortened on the F-cars to allow a 16" wheel.

I think you'll find they are PBR calipers, but made for a Mustang as shown here:

Those rear calipers look exaclty like what was on my 95 lt1 camaro. The ls stuff IIRC had a drum parking brake in the disk.

I think youre right , sorry.
but just looked up in old installpapers of Baer where I read that I can use vette C5 brake pads for replacement??? are these the same as LT1
original they are PBR rear brakes and delivered in the BAER rear brake kit.

Hmm I am pretty sure those are ls1 rear brakes. Didn't the lt1's have the racheting caliper for the parking brake? Its pretty obvious that these have the internal drum parking brake because of the little arm coming out of the backing plate.
I would say for sure they are not vettes because vettes don't have axle tubes
