Only reason i ask is becasue i came across a old stock but BRAND new ATR front PROP shaft for a typhoon. Guy tells me he has no clue if it works on a sy.


I pulled my manual out and they look the same.

I have a Ty prop shaft in my sy it has a slip joint on it so compress it pull it do the same putting it back in. There are aftermarket shafts that look different but will still work the same.

Yeah, I tried to contact that guy to get the part number. Dynotech still makes them. They have two different shafts, the standard and the heavy duty units. It's nothing special the guy just added the fact that it says ATR on it (which it didnt say completely).

Who would have thought you were looking at that too. I was going to buy it last night but the auction ended i messaged him too.

I even looked up the Dynotech website and see they still offer the regular and HD shafts.

I tried asking both what the indicator is the determine if it is a heavy duty part.
