No front posi, just plain ole open, pretty much the same axle thats in your 4x4, just without the axle disengagment parts. Most trucks will tend to spin the drivers side first becasue of the left fronts tendency to lift on acceleration, but its possible to spin both fronts smetimes.
They do sell a front locker for the 7.5 IFS and on most trrucks it has been said that you will never now its there, and that it will help with traction quit abit, but once you get to the point of really spinning the front tires on launch, the locker can fight you, becasue its designed to send power to the tire with the most grip, and as each front tire spins it just keeps transfering power back and forth to each front wheel and can jerk the wheel out of your hand and make it a handfull on a hard launch. But on a mostly stock all the way to id say low 11's i wont hurt to add one.
