My typhoon is in the process of getting painted and I noticed with the cladding off that the front pass. wheel sticks out an inch more than the drivers side on stock wheels and I did check to make sure that the front wheels are on the front and back on back.is this normal or is there a problem?Any help would be greatly appreciated.

for some reason, thats normal. alot of trucks are like that. but an inch, may be a little more than others.

an inch? I dont see how that possible unless its been wrecked before, there isnt that much adjustment room in the body mount holes to allow the body to shift an inch. I've seen trucks off by as much as a 1/2" before and my truck is off 1/4" to the same side yours is, in fact its pretty common on these trucks. Only thing I can suggest is to loosen all the body mount bolts (including those for the radiator support) and try to shift the body over before you get the actual paint work done.

Ive done it on a couple of trucks where the cab had gotten shifted over, but I never bothered with my Typhoon, Im usually the only one who notices and I just ended up putting a 1/4" wheel spacer on the drivers side with longer studs.

i had the same problem what happen to me was that when i took the cab off when i stall it back the cab is on bushing. if you don't aline the front with the cab it goint to be more to one side then the other. what i did was lossen the bolts and wiggel the cab to the other side problem fix.
