The high 9 sec truck are still using stock variations. They are starting to have issue with the T/C, no aftermarket yet. You will have problems with the Propshaft, Tranny and Rear end before these become problematic.
You can get a Lock Right locker kit for it. That will apply power equally to both front tires and eliminate the weaker differential gears. It might be a nuisance on the street with all wheel drive. It isn't too bad in the 4X4 because you can disengage the transfer case.
