I just got an '84-85 Chevy S-10 Blazer Front Diff. for my Ty and it is identical except that it shifts in & out of 4WD. So, there R differences :
1.) The Pass side (long) axle is different because this axle shifts in & out on demand.
2.) The Pass side Axle plate has an extra hole that the shifting linkage goes into.
3.) Inside the Pass side of the case of the FD is a shifting collar and gear, which U will remove.
4.) The Front Propshaft connector plate coming out the back is different, so U will have to remove it and use your stocker. Ours is a plate, and the 4WD one is a U joint connector. While U R at it, U should change out the seal there and have the Pimion preloaded properly.
So, all U have to do is reuse your Pass side axle plate and axle and the propeller flange.
