Are the flanges on the front diff. different between 92 and 93? If so why not different part numbers for the propshaft. I ask because I have a 92 that I needed a shaft for got the part numbers for everything form another board member and it don bolt up but on his it fit no mod at all. I saw a pic of his stock shaft and the end is squared and mine was round. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

the flanges are the same bolt pattern. no matter if the flange on the poopshaft is round or square.

Mine don't match up. I had the shaft made with the part that would bolt up to the square flange, won't bolt up to my round flange. Are thes flanges the same in other s-series or are they sy/ty specific. The main issue I am having is the pilot on my flange is bigger. Most have a pilot of 2 inches, mine has a pilot of 2 7/8.

Jay,

I understand that the S-10 flanges R different. I think they bolt up w U bolts like the rear driveshaft does.

Apparently there were two different flanges for our trucks as mine was 2 7/8 pilot on the front diff flange. I went to the stealership and they had the one with the two inch pilot. Thanks for the help guys. Yes the s-series are different like you said.
