front diff bolt MIA

Pulled the motor to do some stuff..noticed that the bolt that attaches the front diff at the top to the frame is completely missing. There are nice shiny dings in the diff where it has been hitting the frame. What can I replace it with? Is there a specific recommended part number for the bolt and nut or would an off the shelf grade 8 bolt/washer/nut combo suffice? If so, can anyone give me some dimentions on the type of bolt I need? (diameter, length)

is there one on the other side of the bracket? if so take it out, and see if it threads into the missing one. then go to hardware store with that same bolt and see if they have one that matches.

I've got the front diff out of my '99 Bravada. I know its metric. I'm pretty sure its an 18mm socket size, but that doesn't help tell bolt size.

I'd give you the info off of the ones on my Bravada, but its at my parents garage, and I won't be there again until probably Thursday night (10/12).

Go to the salvage yard and get another one. All of the 4X4 S series trucks have the same front differential. It should be easy to find one. Take an 18mm socket, ratchet and wrench with you.
