Front cladding support

I was under the Ty today and looking around. Not sure how long I have been missing the bracket that goes underneath the front cladding and ties it together with the fender. Anybody have a spare one?. Drivers side only. Guess that might explain some stress cracks in the front bumper cover.

Re: Front cladding support

I may have one of these. Very bottom of fender a small z or a offset bar. I have to check my surplus I know I seen it before in a box I have. Will check in the next day or Two and get back with my findings.

Re: Front cladding support

I checked what I have and only found the upper support. Not the Z shape support bracket. What i have is a L shape bracket.

Thanks for looking. I'll wait and see if anybody else finds one. I was sure I had a couple spares of that part. Lots of small stuff, just not that item.

What ever it takes!!
Re: Front cladding support

Make your own with an aluminum tube from home depot.
Smash/crush the ends with a bench vise. Bend the smashed ends & then drill the bolt holes.

L shape bracket goes on the upper part of fender

There is a provision for a screw. The Z fastens to the L.

No front bumper part that is a different part.

Thanks for that. Could someone possibly take a photo. I don't have my truck and it has been without cladding for about 8 years.

I can take a picture of the drivers side one, not sure if they are the same part for both sides. I guess I could make one. Hell we have 15 million dollars worth of machine shop equipment at work.
