front bumper removal

Anyone have that diagram of showing what needs to be removed to get the front bumper off (support and all)?

I did a search, but it comes up with the red x.

No big deal, theres two bolts onto the frame, and a cross beam support on each corner. disconnect the wiring of course.

10 bolts

2 (4 bolts)outer braces (go from the frame to the front bumper cover)
2 (4 bolts) Lower CCHE (InterCooler) braces
2 nuts by the front of the frame, the studs point outward.. The bumper rest on these two studs.

2 support bolts to outside of frame..
2 support bolts to underside of frame (where cche mounts)
Loosed two nuts enough to slide the C-shaped mounts off of the bolts..

i count 4 bolts, and 2 nuts..



ohh yeah, dave's instructions seperate the bar/frame supports from the front cover/support.. mine leave them attached.

you can attach it to an email if it's not too big. Depending on your email program, there is a button or menu item saying "add attachments", which you can then browse for the file.

Do you have to remove the bumper to take off the cover?

Depends on if the cover's ever been off before, it's held onto the support by rivets. If it's been off before, who knows what's holding it on now.

Unless you can remove the 14-16 rivets attaching them together, just unbolt the combo and lay it face down. Then you can see all the rivets.
