Does anyone have pics of how much you notched the frame when doing an LSx swap? I have searched but cannot find any pics of this. Thanks

Its not that much the same piece you cut you can turn it around and reweld it but you can always but the ac relocator from current performance and get it top mounted without messing with the frame

Im just trying to keep the cost down so figured i would go with the stock mounting location. I will be painting the frame with rust shield soon so i need to get this thing notched but i want to make sure im cutting enough so i dont have to re-do it.

There's nothing better than trying it out with the engine in to see how much you need to notch since it all depends on the mounts you use. In my 96 s10 I used to have with an lt1 I notched half of the frame with just for extra clearence but it all dependss on you

My notch is done now but i did look on the s10 forum and all i found was 2wd frames. I just notched as much as possible so i think ill be good.

I made my own mounting bracket and a sanden 508compressor, I changed the rear head for rear exit lines.(cut off 3 mounting ears on the compessor.) I just sliced a little out of the frame and hammered it down and welded it.
