Forged rods with pressed pins?

I've done a fair bit of looking around and trolling the archives, and I'm beginning to think these just don't exist.

Does anyone make a performance 4.3L forged rod that can work with pressed pins?

This is the 2nd rebuild on my motor (1st on was about 20k ago, it was a learning experience). In that build I put a set of TRW L2256 .030 pistons, which apparently will only accomodate a pressed pin. I was planning on putting a set of Eagle H-beams in this time around and drill the mains for the 4-bolt caps, but lo-and-behold. The Eagles are bushed for floating pins. For press-fit pins, you apparently have to use Eagle's SIR rods, which they don't seem to make for the 4.3L.

I really don't have the budget for a 2nd set of forged pistons, so can anyone help me out? Am I just SOL here?

why are you dead set on wanting pressed pins, and why did u use those pistons. syty's use the L2441 TRW piston.

I guess your using a NA motor?

Well, hindsight being 20/20, I would not buy the pistons again. I'm basically stuck. Yes, it's an N/A motor.

I don't have the budget to buy another set of forged pistons, unfortunately.

Thanks. :-?

It's put the brakes on everything until I can get this sorted out one way or another. Maybe I'll call the machine shop and find out what it's gonna cost to open up and shave a set of 350 rods.
