I got guy on ls1tech that I am trying to get to race me. It should be fun. My mods:built .030over 4.3, ported vortec's, 75# injectors, alki, 76mm bbturbo, 3200 stall, 4 d/r's. Best time to date in the 1/8th: 6.80 @ 106 on 21-22psi

The other guy 03 Cobra. His mods: Ported Eaton s/c 16 psi, 2.9 steeda pullies, spec 3 clutch, 60lb inj, 4.10s, slp xpipe, After 3 runs fastest time 7.72 @ 95.3 in 1/8 with 18s and bold dr's...


He is wanting to run for $$$. Said he needs a new set of d/r's for his car. So I' trying to set it up for $4-500 also I am trying to play it off that I'm in his leage. This should be a eatdown if he dont back out. How faar do you think I will beathim? Also this will be the return tour of the truck street racing on film so everyone can enjoy.

is this an 1/8th of a mile run or 1/4? I'd say in my experience people are generally either quicker then what they claim or slower.. in this case i'd say he may be slightly quicker then he claims but you should still have him covered.

Eitherway should be hell of a race especially if you get it on tape and share with us :)

Its up to him on the 1/8 or 1/4The best that I have heard the car went 8.99 in 1000'. He "shouldnt" be a problem.

You'll beat him in the 1/8 and the 1/4.

Will this be on the street (even better for you) or at the track?

Add a small shot and some better wheels and tires and you could have your hands full. Good luck, let us know how it turns out!

No I'm Hiwinds on there. And yes it will be on the street. Also it will take more than a small shot and diff wheels to catch me. I got him by 9/10 of a second and better than 10 mph on low boost. Man I street race around here so when I go to the track and make passes it is NEVER all it will do on the street. Thats bad for business.

well shit the cat is out of the bag. His brother has seen me race at the track. But on a high note the race sounds like it will still take place just no money. Damn it.
