For Sale - 1991 Syclone #1207, Fully built

I have had this truck since 2003 and about 120,000 miles on it but the drivetrain has been totally redone. Due to a change in priorities I'm thinking it's time to get rid of it and maybe look at a Typhoon just for a driver instead.
This truck is done right, engine was done last spring at Campbell Automotive and has all the good stuff., 4 bolt mains, ported and polished vortecs, block fill, Eagle rods and Diamond pistons, with a little bump in compression for better driveabilty.
- RPM air to air with relocated piping, dual in tank pumps, Turbo is a PT-74GTQ turbo (not ball bearing) and is about 4 years old, ATR 3" stainless exhaust, remote dump valve, and Alkycontrol
- 700R4 Tranny is also a Campbell Auto built unit with a billet 9/11 torque converter about 3 years old and maybe 2000 miles on it.
- Rear end is a low mileage unit out of a 35,000 mile Syclone, and comes with CalTracs and stock springs and a rear end girdle
- 12" Baer brakes at all 4 corners
- Front end was just rebuilt last year and has new shocks and struts front and rear.
- 17 X 9 and 17 X 11 Chrome ZR-1's with Sumitomo street tires on all 4 corners (front tires need replacement, rear are brand new)
- Interior is in very good shape
- Exterior is in good shape...cladding is good except for rear driver's corner has a vertical crack in it (have a replacement piece to go with truck)
- Also comes with a 2" Goodmark cowl hood, it is used but in good shape and in primer but otherwise ready to install

The bad...About two weeks ago I think I probably popped a head gasket in it while taking it out for the final drive of the year. Engine is half torn down but it started to get cold so I lost interest and threw it on the back burner.

If I fix it I'm looking for $18,000...if someone else wants to finish it I'll give it away for $15,000. Engine cost me $6000 last spring.
CDN dollars

With the old engine it ran a 11.39 @ 122mph

Truck in in Grande Prairie, Alberta, CANADA

No cage, i's a street truck

Cometic head gaskets

Cam, I'm going to get a Typhoon, probably not a blk/blk though. I'm actually kind of interested in the 92 Aspen Typhoon that's for sale in the Marketplace and a turbo LS or even just a LS would be kind of cool.

I love the Sy but I've had it for just about 7 years and i 'm looking for something a little different, on top of that I went just a little bit over the deep end in building it for just for a weekend driver.
I'm sure I can find someone who will enjoy it because It is stupid fast...lol

What should it run now? Does it have a transbreak or are you leaving on the foot break? Any trades? Thanks

I am sure it will run high 10s, no trans brake,

Sorry.....been really busy at work. I apologize to anyone who has asked for pics and haven't received any yet

Didn't blow a head gasket like i thought, pulled intake off and found that a poor intake gasket seal put the coolant into the oil.
Thought it was a head gasket because the same kinda thing happened before with some Fel-Pro's.
Going to throw it back together and it'll be good to go.

Like Matt said, no trans brake, just have been launching off the foot brake.
Have put new engine and the Cal-tracs in since the last time she was at the track so I'm pretty sure it should be in the high 10's easy.

Good luck with the sale. Awesome truck. I wish I had an extra 18K.

Just to let you potential buyers know, you cant build a truck this nice for 18K, It would cost A LOT more.

And I would say it has mid to low 10's in it :2cents:

p.s. thanks for getting back to me via PM about my questions

See ya,

Finally got some more pictures taken and posted to Photobucket....link is below.
Truck is dusty....sorry
Pictures shows crack in rear driver's cladding and small crack in plastic on the inside of the passenger door panel.

Will upload more pics of the engine bay this weekend when I finish putting the engine back together and reinstall the hood.
