Well personally my intention wan't to defame you... just to make sure everyone was going to receive what they ordered... I explained this before... you weren't upfront with shipping out parts "on time"... and from the first email it appeared as if some of the parts were already off the vehicle before I sent you the money order.. From the 1st email to this last email over 1 month and four days have passed.. Ample enough time to take a steering wheel off the truck before you received the money order.. and to ship it out... on time.. If things were going to take awhile to take off due to other priorities (job,family,etc) then most people would understand if you told them upfront... not 2 weeks after had possesion of someone's money... Also like I stated before you're brand new and incidents like this have happened before.. It's quite easy for someone to say they will ship something then to let weeks sometimes months pass because they realize someone's thousands of miles away and haven't the means to confront them if they so choose to just take the money and say whatever.. This was made that much more uncertain by the fact that you were a first time poster... If you'd been around awhile there's less probability that you're going to screw someone over... Again this statement isn't meant directly towards yourself rather of people who show up out of nowhere, offer something for sale, then disappear into thin air again..
Then there's the issue of saying you can't ship any of the items due to not asking/receiving enough postage for the item.. If shipping costs more for some items then ask the buyer for it and settle with each buyer individually. Not many mind paying for the cost of shipping if the quoted estimate was innacurate...The bad thing to do is not to ship any items to any buyers so that people start to wonder if they are being taken for their money... If you forget someone's address then ask for it ASAP.. don't wait a week, or two.. until you ask again. Then there's the shipping address.. Your location in the BB info states Macon, Georgia yet the money is being shipped to Aurora, Colorado.. All these factors added up to not looking good...

Again my intent wasn't to defame you rather to make sure transactions were proceding the way they should since sufficient time had passed without the items being shipped.. I will add that the emails were very timely though... The only reason I brought up the Post office and mail fraud (secret service, etc) is again because we (the syty BB/list) don't know you asside from offering these parts and letting time pass... There's no way to hold you accountable if you decided to jump ship otherwise... So I appologize if this was indeed a misunderstanding... however, you might consider some of the advice above when related to future BB post type transactions...

If the shipping cost more I will compensate you.. and to rectify any misgivings/misunderstandings as soon as I receive the package I'll definitely post postive feedback on the board if the condition of the items were as stated ....

I know this can't change anything that's transpired, but hopefully you can understand where some of us were coming from...

yeah actually I get the asshole bit a lot... :lol: sometimes it's deserved.. Interesting though about you and the steering wheel Jas... when was it offered to you.. if it was the first week.. I wouldn't worry.. If it's been the past 2 weeks.. then somethings not right with that... Either way... Going to give him the benefit of the doubt with all this and extended that money/parts received deadline from this saturday to next friday.. if I don't receive something around next Friday after 9 days of ship time then I'll start persuing other means of recourse... I'll also check in with the other buyers who responded to make sure they received their parts as well

Yeah I was interested in the steering wheel and some interior plastics in the first couple weeks of him "Parting OUt" this truck.

My bit was I kept asking for the VIN of the truck,
1 - so i could verify I wasn't buying parts off a stolen and stripped truck
2 - I wanted to get this trucks VIN down as being parted out

He fed me some line about the VIN being too personal of info for him to give out. That's funny because most of us have our VINs posted publicly so folks know who has what trucks. That and the registered in GA but send money to CO thing was not sitting well with me.

I'd give him the benefit of the doubt if you have a tracking number that actually works, but this guy sounds like way too much of a prick to get anything from me. (The typing in all CAPS and unnecessary name calling definitely put him over the edge.)

Delivery confirmation can't be tracked rather it only confirms when a postal package has been received by the recipient...

My name is Jason, it was on all the emails I had sent you regarding those parts up front.
Even supplied my shipping address so you could get shipping costs.

In PMs and emails I asked for the vin many times and never got it... so I passed on the whole deal.

I would have checked Carfax first to see if it was a real Ty, then maybe call the Macomb, GA and Aurora, CO police and see if it is a stolen vehicle in either state.

And being you a first time poster then people aren't getting their stuff definitely a reason to be a little apprehensive.
Realy you have no right to call anyone anything after the example you have set of yourself here.

Sorry but I think you have the wrong idea.... I have never accepted merchandise and claimed otherwise with anyone.... Well the package arrived today.. I went to open it up and what do I see but a Syclone steering wheel and cap.. not the Typhoon steering wheel and cap that was agreed upon and mentioned numerous times in different emails... I'm going to ship the Syclone steering wheel Insured via 3 day priority mail through the US Postal Service with delivery confirmation back to you and request you send my $60 back in the form of a Money order ASAP.. If I don't receive my money by the 15th of July I'll be contacting the post office .. I really have a hard time understanding how you could send me the wrong part..

That is fraud... I'm not refunding a cent for shipping seeing as I need to ship the steering wheel back to you.. It is not my responsibility to know that you are shipping the correct item.. That is your responsibility.. I asked for pics.. you couldn't send pics.. I clearly stipulated "stock" typhoon steering wheel.. if you did not know what a stock typhoon steering wheel was then that is your mistake not mine... and yes it is Mail fraud.. Considering I already asked for a refund before you shipped the steering wheel and would have never purchased the steering wheel in the first place if you had said it was a Syclone steering wheel that I would receive. I suggest you send me my full $60... Maybe you researched what "would" happen if you sent the correct agreed upon items however, that is not the case... Yes you might say I'm acting like a prick.. I just wasted a month of my time dealing with someone who sent me the incorrect part.. I'm shipping your syclone steering wheel that you sent me back Monday and I expect $60 back in the form of another money order by July 15th..
