Once I get my trans ironed out I'll be going up against my friends Focus ST one is slightly modded and the other is stock. Not slow cars so should be a good race. Hopefully I'll get a video up of it too.

since i own and drag race both ill let ya in om the skinny;
the st full weight is a 14.2 car on street tires@100
with i/c d/p acessport and tune-13.8@102
with 16 drag radials e85 with methanol on mods above- 13.3@112
2867 gtx or efr big turbo-12.3@119
my typhoon catback and intake filter went 13.6 @99
7th inj aeroking tune d/p- 60-1 turbo-13.0 @104

like to say they were the fastest stock blah blah blah
what they dont divulge is stuff like:
i used air bags /drag radials
the back seat and spare tire were removed
i had 93 octane in the tank(2 gal of that and 2 gal of e85 mixed)
i sprayed meth
i have 120lb injectors
PS they are not stupid for not telling you to gain an advantage

Thanks for the info man. One does have the Cobb accessport. And yes my local track will be the location of the race. Which do you prefer to drive? The ST's are nice cars.

I own both and I can say that the ST is far nicer. I've never felt my truck at fill potential as its always been broken so can't help you much there.

I'll have to take a look at that haha I need this Trams done soon. Kids in my town are getting a little too cocky. An audi s4 with a ko4 swap wants to run me too. If what he says is true then I definitely don't think I could keep up with it.

Well got the Trans and everything back in and everything works fine. So me and my buddy went out to the local meets and he has a SRT4 slightly modded. Long story short at the end of the night we ended up rolling around 20 or 30 and stepped on it but I downshifted into 1st and instantly had to shift back into 2nd which was my mistake and he had me beat right there and he had me by a car by the time we had to let off.

Run him from a dig next time. Learn to launch it correctly and u shouldnt have a problem. Your truck in good tune would help also if its not.

You shouldn't have a problem with the ST if your truck is running good. A good launch will end it pretty quick. Is the S4 the twin turbo 2.7 early 2000's? Those can run pretty good, if they are modified.

From a dig, even stock Sy / Ty's will take most cars, especially 1/8th mile or less. The farther you go, the more cars will start coming around you. From a roll is never their strong point.
The Focus RS has launch control too, which will make it hard to beat stock vs. stock.
I'm waiting impatiently for them to hit showrooms so I can test drive one.

Well didn't run the ST but a modded lightning beat me pretty bad. He had intake exhaust and a meth kit. Also a coyote mustang beat about 2 and a half cars on me. All from digs
