Re: flywheel cover?

i dont remember taking out my prop shaft. then again its been a couple years. how many people reinstall these? wouldnt this retain heat in the converter ? wouldnt it be better to leave it off to help cool the converter ?

Re: flywheel cover?

I wouldn't put it back,It only keeps heat in that area with it on.I have a Gilbert and have to move it first. But I have the 3" exhaust, Trans lines,Batt wires in my way also.
If I used a laptop under my truck; I might see what he sees
Get a BFH, or saws all.

Re: flywheel cover?

You know. While I was under the truck lastnight (you know, just dreaming. Like I always do under my truck not really working on anything at all.) I wondered if anyone really keeps that or not. This just might make me go and take it off now. lol.

Good post.
