So I've been searching the site for a couple hours trying to answer some questions, answered some, but I came up with more questions along the way.
Mobil1 10w 30 in the engine, been using it, no problems.. but I saw mobil1 has some racing formula 0w 30, what's that all about.. obviously race vehicles, but anyone have some experience with it? No big deal, just curious.
Now the main question/concern... synthetic in transfer case and the differentials?? According to most posts it seems to be alright?? I'm assuming the 75w 90 oil won't be much different over the 80w 90? Also... is the GM limited slip additive needed in the rear end with synthetic oil? I read 2 posts that said don't use it at all regardless of what lube you use. So I'm completely lost there.
What about synthetic grease, yay?? nay??
In case you were wondering, I'm not a mobil1 freak...I've got a friend who's sponsered by mobil1 (amateur motorcycle) and he gets all mobil1 products cheap or free... I'm buying him a tank of gas and he's covering all my mobil1 needs.
