Flex plate replacement

well, I just had my engine rebuilt, and i figured I should replace my flexplate while i'm at it, although my engine was balanced, it was balanced with the stock flexplate being unaltered so as to replace it with anything similar. any suggestions?

Reuse it. Good news if it craps later, it can be replaced without pulling engine or tranny. Not easy but do-able.

How do you replace a flexplate without at least pulling the trans? At minimum it would have to be unblolted and slid back 3-4". Only question
It because I have to one and was going take the trans out.
