Flex Form Leaf Spring Broke!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was under my truck installing my dynotech aluminum drive shaft, and noticed my right leaf spring is cracked down the center like a splinter.It has not even been driven on that much maybe 10 or so good lauches. I have not called them yet to se what they are willing to do for me anyone had this problem.

they are going to tell you to buy another set. this has happened so many times I cant believe ppl are still using them. about the only way to keep this from happening is to use some spring control device like caltracs or something. the fiber just cant hang.

my passengers side did the splinter thing also, without any dragstrip launchs, IT DID have lowering blocks A no-no, also it had a swaybar, the combo. of the two twisted the spring and cracked it, flex a form replaced under warrenty thou, the spring is easy to replace, make sure it is lined up in the locateing pin hole, i put the stock wedges back in the pin would not go thru to the rear mounting bracket, so i stacked up some narrow washers to make it about 3/8 inch longer, george at flex made a slightly heavier rated spring 245# hope this info helps, mike
