It's been over a year since I bought my truck, and believe it or not, I haven't raced it until this weekend. (Everything was broken) To make a long story short, this guy was being a dick in a mid-80's, fully tubbed mostly restored camaro on the freeway, so I decided to see if he was gonna get off. I ended up next to him at a light and gave the point. He agreed and dropped into low. I left with ~4 lbs. and absolutely killed him. Atleast 10 car lengths @ 50mph. He was so imbarrassed that he turned immediately off the road. HAHA!! I'll :drinking: to that!

Good kill man, the first is always the best. What makes it great is he was probably saying to his friends....."I could have beat him if he didn't have Nawhs" :roll:

Nice Dan! I had a run in with a nice C5 vette today ON THE HIGHWAY! I was driving down highway 10 when it rolled up next to me, 2 kids in it. I asked if he wanted to go. He said, "Sure, I know those things are fast from a stop, but I should have you covered on the highway." I honestly though I was gonna get smoked, but oh well. I was running pretty mild, 16.5 psi, 16 deg timing. We hit it from about 55, DEAD EVEN till about 100 and I started to barley pull on him, then he came back and started to barley pull on me, like less than a foot. The hole race was super close, back and fourth by less than a foot either way. We went from 55 to 123 according to the DM file. He was crapin his pants, couldn't believe it was that fast from a roll. I was pretty happy with that. Too bad I didn't have my 20psi/20deg tune in it.

Sounds like ya got your truck tuned then? Where were you Sat night, I was expecting to go drag with ya. Oh well, maybe this Sat night, since hopefully some people will show up.

My truck never made it out that night. Mark Larson and I took out his and had some bad luck racing, don't ask.

On a side note, Saleen mustangs are fast.

Yeah Saleens are vicious, if they are the supercharged model. I thought they all were but a friend explained only the better ones. I actually saw a white one the other day, the guy didn't look like he wanted to race, thenk god, I knew better with my build. We both kind of sat there doing the 35 mph speed limit admiring each others ride. If I was to own a Mustang, that would be the one.
