Well, I know that's not a big deal, but it was my first kill on the street. Yesterday evening we went to cruise into the city with my wife. Nice weather, but from a racing point of view the stuff was pretty disappointing. Saw a few cars, which I wanted to race with, but every one of them went into the other direction. There were a few cars racing around me, but they were just waste of gas, so I left them alone.
Finally, we decided to go home and changed our route. I was driving really slow, and reached a light where a red Honda Prelude was sitting already. It was saying 2.2 Vtec on the back, young guy with his chick in the car. When he saw us he looked over and started to rev that thing.
I thought, wtf. The car is from the early 90's, 2.2L, 180HP. This part of the world that thing is among the fast cars on the street, around 7-7.5 to 60mph. I bet he wins most of the time when racing.
Anyway I decided to let him make the move. The light changed to green and he punched it, spun a bit, then took off. I slowly started from idle, and when he was half a car ahead I punched it. Guys. Wow. In no time I was some 5 cars ahead, the tranny just shifted to third, the next red light was comming so a let it off. 8)
At the next light he was not looking over, and when the light changed he was sitting still. I guess still under shock. :lol:
I know, that this is not a major kill, but the first one for me, so pls forgive me the long storry. Also pls keep in mind, that here nobody knows what a Syclone is. None, null, nada. Also most of the people don't even know that a car or truck could be faster then a GSI Astra. That's really funny to educate them.
