First kill in a while

I finally got the TY driveable yesturday so me and the wife decided to go for a spin. There was aguy in a Saturn Ion, Redline, that would not leave me alone. He got on my side and asked me if it was stock, I told him no and that I didnt have a whole lot done. So he smiles and says "this is 100% stock". I ws like, ok. My wife apparaently went to school with theguy and said hes a loser. So we get a little further down the road and he tells me that he has nothing done to it except exhaust. This is right after we raced from a roll and I was pulling on him pretty good. So I tel the guy I wouldnt get all excited about owning a Saturn, its really not htat cool. So we get stuck at a light and he asks me if I think I can beat him and I tell him I know I can and Im gonna do it in a 15 year old truck. Hes like yeah right. So I launch at about 16 psi and leave that sorry bastard spinning at the light. I put about 8 cars on the guy out of the hole and just kept leaving him. We catch the next light and now his mood changes, he yells "its just a Saturn dude"! So I yell, "hey its just a blazer, an old one!!" So I tell the guy get a new car and try again next time!

How do you have traction with a 16lb launch on the street?

Nice kill!

Ditto on both counts.

I have a hard enough time trying to keep them planted during a 5psi launch on the street. 0psi seems to work best for me.

I dont know, Abe runs stock boost and he complains of traction issues but for whatedver reason, I dont have them. Maybe I dont make much power at those boost levels, I dont know.

What would be really cool is if you permanently mounted a vid cam to the passenger seat we would all get to enjoy those kills of yours.

Nice kill man. I'm really supprised you race this many people. I'm really picky about who or what i race cause it has to be worth my time, there are extreme consequences for getting caught. No way they are immpounding my truck for a 15 sec. redline. My buddy Zach is kicking himself right now for taking down a heavly modded srt-4 in his camaro and getting caught. His car wasn't impounded, but so far court cost and lawyer fee's have reached almost 3k. Becareful.

Been there done that got that t-shirt....I actually agree with you 100%. Since my wife went to school with this joker I had to shut him down and really dont race as much I used to. Especially not on race night, they have a thing here called DRAGNET Night, all the cops go out on bikes and hide in bushes and shit, this is when I race elsewhere where noone goes, but on Monday through Thursday, you just have to make sure they arent around and youre good.
