Keep them in. I don't have them in my truck. The electronics don't like water, makes everything start rotting if you don't clean everything every time you can. I just makes mess.

If you lived in LOS or something like that maybe it wouldn't be so bad, but again you have all kinds of abrasive dust flying and picked up stones. I'm thinkjng of louvring mine.

Well on my homemade vacuformer I can't get anything thick enough to mold right. Thin aint a problem but I wouldn't put my name on it in a dd. Also without a turbo truck for me to test on I'm worried they might catch fire or first good time the underhood temp rises the fenderwell will just reform on top of the tire. Louvers are also a no go, turned out just bad, real bad.Sorry guys I tried. Now I'm gonna go play with making gauge pods for the speaker grill and see if I have any better luck.
