I just recieved my buckets. Thanks, MRKING.

I have a question.
What are the 2 pieces of aluminum flat stock & 4 screws for?

I wanted to make sure no one cracks the fiberglass when securing them to the support . Your going to want to drill pilot holes through the buckets , and sandwich them between the core and flat stock like below .I couldnt figure out any other mounting options , so I wanted to include that stuff to make them more install friendly . The "ONLY THING NOT INCLUDED" is some EPOXY to glue in the headlight adjusting screw base . I couldnt make the fiberglass the same thickness as the stock oem metal , so do make sure you bend the plastis tabs out a little when you stick the adjusting screws in through the back of the bucket . That will keep them from loosening .

Once the headlight is mounted in the bucket , dab some epoxy glue on the base of the screw in the front and back of the fiberglass buckets for safety . You can see the glue through my buckets since I didnt paint them . I used a clamp to hold the buckets to the support when fitting the grille . Dont drill or secure them until you've made sure the fenders , hood, and grille all line up together . A 1/8-1/4 inch off will be noticable when the grill is on . These really should be the last step in the cores install .

All the buckets are in route except 3 pairs, they will be finished and ready to mail out monday . Thanks again .

Re: fabbed core suppts.

Not completely . I got away with leaving the door bolts loose .Before removing the stock support ,measure from the edge of the fender to a spot somewhere on the frame so you have an point to measure from once the new core is in. Drilling the holes for the front frame bolts have to be exact .
