not a fan of these eff'n things... as far as i'm concerned its just in the way and another thing to oxidize and look like shit...

Has anyone taken theirs off without a considerably noticeable difference in the paint around the area? My paint is already pretty rough and i wanna get rid of these things but don't want a dark ring around my door handles either.

ps... if you did take em off, what'd you use? i was thinkin heat gun?

A heat gun should loosen them up enough to pull them off. then use an eraser wheel to take off the excess tape left behind. this is how i pulled the trim off of my blazer, the paint more than likely wont be noticeably different, if you get them off and want to sell them let me know.

yeah i'm kinda worried about the heatgun warping or melting them. I'm gonna give fishing line a try and see what happens there... worst case i'll pop the door panel off and maybe use the heat gun from the back side to heat up the glue...

anyway, you got one person in line ahead of you for those things... if that falls through i'll hit ya up.

cheers!
