At the the bottom of the chain you just drill a small pilot hole in your frame and NallJ supplies a GM bolt that matches everything else down there so it looks stockish!

My turnbuckle tie down I had looped through the upper shock mount and it looked hoakie.
the older style tailgate cable method required a hole to be drilled in the frame as well so its no big dealio.
