Got mine today, had it installed 15 mins after being out of the package! very nice piece, great fit, great design!

I mocked mine up today and was curious if there should be a washer between the alternator bracket and C shaped portion because there is room for one? And does this rub on the power steering hoses for anyone?

do you have a steel one or a aluminum one? should not be any washers needed

Installed Justin's tiedown this weekend at our Memorial Meet. I had to bend the power steering lines a bit to make some clearance (we checked 3-4 trucks, seems they all route slightly different) but overall it was a quick and easy installation...probably 10-15 minutes of actual work to get it in once we made clearance with drilling the hole taking the most time.

Good instructions, looks clean in the engine bay and it was well made. :tup:

X2...I finished installing mine yesterday and it only slightly touches the oil line towards the front of the truck. I just put a piece of rubber hose over the threads and BAM....one kick ass tie down strap installed. Very nice product. :tup:
