I know I've read about them before on here, but I get like 95+ pages of search's (which I dont feel like going thru that many pages!)

Worth it or not?

I thought I read somewhere that they help provent the heater core from going in the trucks, is that true? What else would it help with?

Depends on what you attach them too. Jeremy had a tie down....until he broke the accessory bracket and the alternator casing....Now he has a solid left mount....

Life is beter at 25 PSI
i dont like tie downs. they can break stuff that they are attached to. if you use a tailgate cable it can stretch.

so i went with solid mounts

The motor mounts pads have been around for 4-5 years now, and people still swapping to them. Must be a reason.

I do say, go straight to solid though.

Yeah, people have had problems craking the brackets they hook them to. In the end its just a bandaid. You can do this and have it so your mount never busts. Or you can use it to fix a broken mount. But in the end your still going to have to replace something else overtime.

Go soild.
