Electric fans and ac wiring

I've added electric fans to the truck since the clutch fan crapped out. I've got it all wired except for the ac connection to kick the fans on when ac is turned on. The controller wants me to connect to either a positive or negative ac signal.

Is there a better place than another to connect into this for those that may have done this?

Connect it to the lt green wire at the switch on the accumulator. The fan will run whenever the AC controls are in AC.

If you connect it to the clutch, it will 'work' but the fan goes off and on with the clutch. Even after the clutch cycles off, there is heat in the condenser that will continue to be removed if the fan is running. This improves cooling performance. Also, the fan coming on at the same time as the clutch is not great for idle quality. The alternator will last longer too if it is not subjected to frequent loading and load-dumping by a cycling fan.

I like that idea of connecting at the accumulator and not having it going on and off with the clutch. I'll try that out.
