hey guys question i have been having a lot of problems with my truck. it will not start at times and the check engine light is off. if i push in the prom the light will come on and the engine runs. it could run 20 miles or stall in the drive. im thinking there may be a crack in the printed circut board any body have a sim. problem. old jersey guy stuck in fla.

You could probably score an ECM from your local boneyard for cheap. (I've gotten a good one for $15)Look for:
1987-90 2.0 OHC L4 PFI turbo, vin �M� (Sunbird Turbo)
1987-88 2.3 DOHC L4 PFI, vin �D� (various Quad 4 cars)

Look for this # on the ECM's you drop 1227749.Swap in your Sy/Ty chip and you'll be good to go.
