ebay rotors

has anyone ever tried the cross-drilled slotted rotors that are in the typhoon section on ebay? can't afford the corvette swap and even if i could i wouldn't know how or where to begin. my ty stops really well but the brakes squeak too much and the pads are worn. figure i'd give those a try unless someone really objects to them. going for semi-good looks, compared to stock anyways. any thoughts?

Re: ebay rotors

any squeek is from vibration, vibration is because the pads are prob not glued well enough to the calipers, i use either hi temp scilicone or on my less pretty cars, antiseeze. that will stop any squeel, but i have bought the cross-drilled from summit, and they worked fine.

I have a set. They came with pads. For the money. Seem to work pretty well. Came from a warehouse in CA. Got them the next day. Also used some from the same co from ebay on another car and they work well on it.

They are ok. A lot of times what they do is buy cheap rotors and cross drill/slot them themselves. It does take away from the strength. You do have to watch out around the holes that are drilled because they do like to crack on the cheaper rotors.
