ebay customrestore

Has anyone on here sold a syty recently to customrestore on ebay? I have been watching closely and in the past couple weeks they have won about 5 trucks and are high bidder on about 5 more. They have one negative feedback from a syty owner that said they won and never paid, i was wondering if those other trucks were paid for or if they would bid and back out. They bid some pretty high amounts as well, great for the seller if they are really buying all these sytys.

There somethuing fishy with him look at his neagtives, they are all for purchases of vehicles, he has bid on tons of cars and been out bid at the last minute or the reserve is not met or he pulls his bid. I was at the selling location of the Raspberry ty today and he called them asking to to cancel his bid, Hes bought alot of parts but none of his vehicle purchases have been completed from what I can tell

Well, this situation just gets weirder every day. You mean to tell me that none of the 13+ trucks he's "won" have gone through smoothly? I know for a fact that MANY parts purchases have gone fine, but not on "any" of the trucks themselves?? Strange.

Re: ebay customrestore

check his individual feedback, there are several actual vehicle puchases that he has been left a positive feedback for(including Sys and Tys). I don't blame him for cancelling on that Pink piece of crap, I still can't believe that GM would even spray that color on that truck. Good Luck to everyone

Re: ebay customrestore

i know for a fact that he purchased a white/white ty out of minnesota. I contacted the owner wanting to purchase it and he told me that they were loading it on the truck in 10 mins, so he has followed through on at least one deal?

Re: ebay customrestore

Yeah he has like 5 or 6 + feedbacks that are from a Typhoon or Syclone. And if you look at several of the people that were selling the trucks had very minimal feedback and might not spply feedback very often. Also if he is sending trucks to get them, it might take a little more than a couple of days to get the deal done and picked up. Just a thought, I don't know why he would keep bidding if he is not buying them, he will also have one heaping pile of parts as well with nothing to do with them.

Re: ebay customrestore

also, I haven't seen any of the trucks relisted as well? If he is not paying for them, I would guess that the owner would relist them. Also, he is bidding on ton of stuff, i could see how a piece here or there could slip through and not get paid for, there are a bunch of idiots on the bay. I wouldn't doubt him just because he has some really deeeeep pockets!

Re: ebay customrestore

I think he is legit. I also think he bids on some vehicles based on the sellers description to later find out a full disclosure was not made on its condition so he refuses to follow through with the sale. Can't blame him at all IF that is the case cause I have been in the exact situation.

Re: ebay customrestore

we dont bid on here. I know a few trucks that have been for sale a while. You guys buy most the stuff so fast that by the time I get home from work its all gone anyways.

Re: ebay customrestore

I think that I agree with Black Knight and Flintdawg, if someone has a truck they are wanting to sell, they need to be smart about it and just put it on ebay, he will probley buy it, and that would suck for everyone on here that might need a part here or there and he buys everything that he sees for sale. I with I had the capital to do what he is doing, but most of us on here are normal and what he is doing is not normal!

Re: ebay customrestore

He's lurking here already, even if he's not registered. Someone with deep pockets like that doesn't spend like he does without doing some homework first. You can't tell me that most people on here that came into some cash wouldn't do the same thing, myself included. This is the ugly side of capitalism...

Yep, he is. I didn't want to be the one to disclose this information since he might want it kept secret :).
