My truck has out of the blue begun shifting at around 4200 rpm and will no longer go into 4th at wot. It also slips pretty hard into 3rd. I hooked it up to datalog it so i could tell for sure where the shift points were. The first thing i did was check to see if the tps would show 100% and it did. So after that I made a pull and it shifted at 4000rpm. I then adjusted the t.v. cable and it didn't do much it just made the shifts firmer and raised them arounnd 200 rpm also the 2-3rd shift stopped sliping it is a nice crisp shift again. Also after adjusting the t.v. cable the throttle will not open all the way it will only get to 91.4 percent. .The transmission has around 10,000 miles on it and the fluid is very clean. I changed the fluid and filter when the trans had around 5k on it.
I am really confused and i don't know what i should try next if someone could point me in the right direction that would be great.
