Will get more details as I get them, still have to get the last 4 of VIN but its a 6x,xxx mile ty and from the pics you can see the damage to the roof. I need to get more pics to judge what it is worth. I'm simply posting this for the mere fact alot of you have messaged me asking about it and how much. I won't leave it as a "up for auction post" since I don't like seeing those myself so here is some of the stuff I do not need from the buy. I really wanted the Sy and the new parts that come with it. Plus Id like to see someone take a stab at actually putting it back together as a driver so..

93 white/grey Ty with wheels etc
Stock 03 shortblock
Waller trans, stock transfer case and the front drive accessories(alt, AC compressor, water pump, power steering pump, accessory brackets, crank pulley etc.(no exhaust manifolds or turbo)

I will just put down $4500 obo(so you can shoot me offers
if you want to pick it up from him within the week..otherwise loading it up and headed here.. I'll post more pics as I get them.

thread to some pics of the Ty, ignore the head build.

Sad to see it hit by a tree, after seeing the pics I would say you would be very lucky to get 4500 for that truck as is. That roof and those rear quarter's will never be the same. Thats a buy for someone who has a bodyshop or can do that kind of work. Paying someone to fix that would cost 6500+

It's a good parts Ty for someone possibly. Figured id throw in a few goodies with the Ty to make up for it.

There is a waller trans and a 4l60e, plus the stock 03 block with accessories I could throw all with it, has to be a local pick up there though. You could even make an offer what all you need on top of that for $4500 to make it a good deal for ya.

it would be there. If I bring it to KS it will more than likely be stripped for stuff I can use and offset cost.

If you bring it back let me know. I'm sure I can use some of the parts and I'm only a couple hours away. :)

It's going to cost 1500 just to fix that waller transmission, I'd offer 2,000

I got a white 92 roller with coilover front suspension that doesnt need any body work, doesnt mean I value it at 7,000. If your's sells for 3500, mine is going up for sale. 7,000 FIRM.

Not sure what this is about?

but like I said, I was starting high taking offers instead of no price. Im not in a hurry to sell it as a whole. Being shipped to me, .just thought Id throw it up for anyone that was interested at that price.

Id figured it would be worth that easy to someone who has a trashed ty that had a good cab that need all the cladding, interior etc.

Re: E-Rues 93 Typhoon gauging interest

The market for these trucks are at the lowest value ever, several very nice trucks are available from 6,000-10,000. These trucks do not require expensive body work and are not missing the complete powertrain. You have been around long enough to know you got a good deal or not with eric. If you want to get rid of the truck quick so you wont have to deal with transporting it then you should price it fairly. Asking 4500 obo for a truck thats going to take 10,000 to fix in this kind of market is obserd. If you want to make most of your money back then bring the truck home and do the work and part it, you could easily come close to your 4500 estimate on value. Otherwise i'd suggest pricing the truck reasonable so someone could afford to bring it back to a respectable condition for resale or to enjoy.

To me that waller trans is not worth more than 200 bucks, the 03 4.3L to me could bring 500 for the heads and crank. No interest to me as a engine for the Ty.

2000 would be the most I would offer on that truck

If you read my original post it does say

I'm simply posting this for the mere fact alot of you have messaged me asking about it and how much. I won't leave it as a "up for auction post" since I don't like seeing those myself so here is some of the stuff I do not need from the buy.

The price I listed is what it would take for me NOT to transport it. If its priced too high it simply wont sell. Don't like the price dont buy it.

This is his for sale ad. If you don't like his price cause you think its too high, mind your own. Its written in the for all ad laws to not to say if you think theories is too high or low. What if he was offering it for$500 bucks? Would you say thats too cheap? Anyways, thread needs to get cleaned up and that includes removing this post.
This is a great truck for somebody's rust bucket or an engine swap.

Re: E-Rues 93 Typhoon gauging interest

It's not for sale anymore, i have everything arranged to get it home, I have plans for the wheels/tires, dash pieces etc so it's worth a certain amount to me.

Jpalmer, I have noticed guys complain about prices on how much their trucks are worth...price bashing peoples posts about being too high is sure killing it for everyone honestly on values. Whats it worth?...answer.... what someone is willing to pay for it.

when you make a post..there is the trucks for sale rules right about the comments box...

The following examples will not be allowed:
Conflicting/Interfering with a sale/purchase - Posting the same product for a lower price elsewhere in the same post as the original for example.
Giving your opinion on the item/truck being sold is priced high/low, unless asked to do so by the seller.
Publicly questioning sellers/buyers with no intent to help the sale/purchase, but just to get your .02 in on what you think overall, unless asked to do so by the seller/buyer.
Random "nice truck" comments or general chit chat, THIS IS NOT A DISCUSSION FORUM! Posts in this forum do not raise your post count!

You posted "or best offer" so what do you expect? You want a bidding war then take it to ebay. I offered what I believe it's worth to me, and why wouldnt I have the right to explain why?

I won't leave it as a "up for auction post" since I don't like seeing those myself so here is some of the stuff I do not need from the buy. I really wanted the Sy and the new parts that come with it. Plus Id like to see someone take a stab at actually putting it back together as a driver so..

You said yourself you did not want it as an "up for auction post" so why not take the criticism so personal. What I said has absolutly no reason why anyone did not buy the Ty for 4500

Re: E-Rues 93 Typhoon gauging interest

This is why I remove evidence of what I pay OR sell stuff for. People get the idea that buyers should never be able to make a profit and I suspect that is what this was all over. I saw this thread right after it was posted and purposed to keep my comments to myself because I had no interest in buying the item. Others that have no interest in it (or any other for sale item) should learn to do the same. Some members buy from me and have resold the item for more ON THIS FORUM. I applaud them!!

What an item is bought for and subsequently re-advertised for should make no matter.

Recently, I bought a cherry clean 92 Ty with a breath-taking $7500 sunset metallic orange paint job, coilovers on all 4, disc brakes on all 4 and about $12000 in drivetrain mods with newish chrome C5 wheels for a great price. If I want to relist it for $12500, it is MY business. Realistically,I would probably accept $10000 but the point is, you gotta be quick on the draw. For those that are and spin a honest profit, kudo's to us ;).
