Just to let you guys know ,I finally put my Sy on a hub dyno today.
Made about 6-7 pulls.
Peak HP was 386 HP & 586 ft lbs of torque.
Average HP was 341-352range
Average torque was 550 ft lbs.
Started w/TI -16 ,T1-18,T120 & back down to 17, then 18,,, etc...
Did not need to change fuel pressure, AFR's were pretty good,,.quess the LM1 really works good w/real testing on the streets.

Best power, after everything was good & warm,,, was T1-20 psi boost, but the engine was seeing 20- 21 lbs of boost.
I tried T2 20 PSi but it made less power because I do not have race gas in the truck, it is pump gas.
So that meant if I want to run T2 , I need better gas.
Best pull was the first one set @ T1-20 ,engine was nice & cool, but as engine & everything else got hotter the HP & torque numbers went down.
I did not have any cool down time just made all runs back to back, to back to back ,etc

I took pictures of my Sy all bolted up to the wheel hubs.
The only thing,, the dyno guy could not print the sheets because he forgot his printer.
As soon as he mails the sheets to me I will send to anyone who is interested via e-mail.
I made that statement because there seems to be non believers here & you know who you are. ha, ha
The HP,& torque numbers are off the top of my head ,but they are pretty close to what I remember.
That's it, now & need to find some time & sticky tires to run at a track.
Any q's here is the dyno guys phone number 1 661-478-4922

Before I dynoed my SY,, there was a 66-67 convertable Vette,? side pipes w/a 496 BBC ,,it made 380 ft lbs torque & 360 HP, it had small heads aluminum & it was valve floating @ 5500 rpm. It seemed to be pretty weak (new engine though)

My friend also Dynoed my old 65 Malibu SS w/a 406 SBC,Victor heads 208in -160 ex. Air gap intake 9.85 to one compression Hyd roller cam 248 duration @ .050 585 lift, he made 350 HP & 450 ft lbs of torque. not bad. This was not the same engine I had in it when I owned it.
We were going to race but ran out of time.
I told him we need to race from a roll @ 50 MPH or I spin out of control. (No front prop shaft)
Maybe later.

Nice numbers. Mods?

Ultimate chip, ATR aux cooler,ATR air box & filter, catback exhaust, airfoil for TB, Aquamist 1S, MSD 6A, J&S safegaurd,KB fpr,255 HP Walbro pump,Turbo, TD06H -20G,w/a 12 CM turbine housing, port match turbo to exhaust manifold.
Accel cap & rotor & Accel wires, the high temp ones. Plugs are AC delco 43's, I know ,,,wrong ones but that all this one store had.
All else is factory 100% stock never opened engine. Stock trans/converter 2100RPM Max stall.

Re: Dyno tested Dynapack hub dyno today

Things added/different since my 12.29 & 12.31 108 MPH runs are as follows:

Aquamist 1S, J&S Safegaurd, Cap,rotor plugs, plug wires, Ultimate 10-1 3 bar chip,
& TD06H-20G turbo w/12 cm turbine housing.
So I would say it is definetly faster ,just a bit sluggish, not by much,, (taking off/initial launch) w/the different turbo.

Nice times with that setup. Sounds like you have it dialed in...

Thanks,
It ran pretty good w/the Pitbull chip I had in it, but I spun the tires too much.
I am shooting for the 11's next time out. I do need tires & time to take it to a more sea level track.

most guys are in the 11-12 AFR range for WOT

I know, that is why I wanted to richen it up to see if it would help or make it worse?
But maybe that's also why I made 386 HP
