Dutweiller SyTy?

met a guy with a GN today, pretty nice turbo setup he had on it and the entire engine bay was spotless. he claimed to be running low 11's and that dutweiller did some work on his car. to make a long story short, he said that kenny was a hell of a nice guy and that i should stop by his shop sometime, and have him check out my truck? :-?

i thought dutweiller pretty much only worked on GNs and a few special side projects. has he ever done a SyTy? or any work with our trucks before? i would think that if he has, he'd be giving McCoy and everyone else with 9sec Sy's a run for their money, considering his 8 or 7 sec GN or however fast that damn thing is.

He did work on the 4.3's in the past, but is NOT a fan of them. Mike & Torrey have talked / do talk to him.

Do you remember the gentlemans name? Kenny usually doesnt work on the sytys, but if he had the patience to seriously get into one, it would be pretty bad ass. Mainly b/c it would have a bulletproof motor, motec, some crazy headers, etc. The drivetrain would be one part he had no control over.

Was his name Nick? If it was, I raced him three times on Valley Circle a while back. Got him out of the hole big time all three times. I think he got excited. All I saw was smoke from his tires, he couldn't hook up. I remember the second run. when I hit about 60 all I could hear were those twin turbos screaming behind my left ear. Then he flew by me.

That was really clean car. We swapped numbers but I never tried to contact him again.

hey george, long time no chat! i didnt get his name, we didnt talk all that long, but he did mention that he "gets us syclone guys messing with him all the time and has to teach us a lesson" :lol: thats when i asked how fast he was in the quarter. and slowly backed away when he said 11's :lol: anyway, it quite possibly couldve been the same guy. i have nothing to do today before work so maybe ill stop by duttweillers place and see whats up. i wonder if he'll try and talk me into droppin a 3.8 in my sy :lol:

let's hope not. no offense, its a good motor, but if you are going to drop a motor in, do a ls1 with 6lbs of boost. nice power there.
