I kick butt on Oct. 11 2002.

First pass against new BMW. Me 13.717 @97.69 w/ 1.924 60' on T1-15 Ultimate. Him 14.327 @ 96.86. Personal best. Sweeeet.

Second pass against new TA w/ ram air. I was thinking butt kicking for me. NO NO. Me 13.576 @96.99 w/ 1.840 60' on T1-16. Him 13.885 @ 100.91. Another Personal best.

Third pass against an Extreme on the bottle. Me 13.224 @ 97.97 w/ 1.782 60' on T1-18. Him 14.926 @91.79. Holy Crap. Yet another personal best.   Did I read that time slip right.

Thank you Brian Green.

A big thanks to Dig for telling me to turn in my waste gate.

That is what I am talking about. Just had to celebrate a bit.

Huge change from 15.8xx from my Sy when I first got it. I now has a owner that loves and takes care of it.

Congrat! Nice times... What kinda BMW did you run against? What was the difference between your launches on the runs, if there were any? How much boost did you leave the line with?

Good job.

Way to go D :D ! At the rate you're going, you will prolly make a flat 13 second pass when join the 100 MPH club. I need to work on my ETs after I get my 3K stall converter put in... My lowly 13.7 sec pass is embarrassing :(

The BMW was an M roadster. The Launches were the same. I left the line with 8-10 psi of boost.

Thank you Mike. My TC has some issues also. It wont lock up for anything. Josh found this out for me the last time I was down in PA. I thought your tranny was shot again? Did you get the rebuild rebuilt?

My rebuilt transmission *seems* ok. My torque converter was acting kinda weird locking and unlocking all the time with my cruise control on driving down perfectly flat roads. So, I pulled my transmission (again) a few weeks after the nats to get it rebuilt. Pulled it the second time in two hours flat by myself... not to shabby eh? I wanted to increase the stall speed to 3K but, I was told that it wouldn't be possible. So, I'm gonna get a new Hughes Performance in the near future. Forgot about your torque converter issues, figured you would have gotten that squared away by now. Get that taken care of and install a lock up switch and I have a feeling you will be leaving Thirteenville. Just be sure that you take me with ya when you leave :D !

Two hours to pull the tranny. Holy crap. I will need 4-12 hours.

A tranny rebuild, might be a good winter project. Do you have a part number and stall speed for the Hughes.

The only things that I have changed from Beaver Springs are a 160 Deg. stat., 2" lowering blocks, and adjusted my WG rod in 1.5 turns.

I think that if you drill a few more holes in your tailgate you should be able to reach 100mph due to less drag.

Zip it Mandrov. You think that pole barn is going to build it's self.

Sorry Punk A$$ Financial. Just messing with you.

Wouldn't it be nice for that Sy to be nuzzled up next to the Ty in the nice barn with all of those tools and equipment, and a place to do the stuff to make it go 100+, like stock heads and such....

and learn how to spell my last name

The first time I pulled my transmission was the first time I had ever done one. The "how to" write up by Jesse (Huryde) and Blake (George) made it pretty straight forward to do. I did it over two days the first time so I didn't mess anything up. The second time, I practically "fell out" due to have it out a few weeks earlier  . Blake is the champ though as he can do his in like an hour and 15-20 minutes  ...

I'm getting my torque converter from Pace Performance: http://www.paceparts.com/product.asp?3=13270 or maybe Summit Racing if they have the one I'm looking for. The stall speed is 3,000 RPM with lock up. Seems the concensus is a converter with that stall speed equals instant boost with stock turbo :p ... Figure it will help spool that BFT once I get that elusive 12 second timeslip.

Good to hear that you got rid of the 3/4 ton pick up look :D . Just remember you can't haul as much stuff now... The last time I went to Spencer's place, my rear wheel rubbed the top of my cladding due to the bumpy ass roads  . Guess I shouldn't haul 400 plus pounds of tools to the wrenching sessions anymore huh? Have you replaced your shocks yet? My truck rode awful after I lowered it. Have KYB Gas a justs on it now front & rear and what a difference! Should have done replaced the stockers lots sooner.

I think that if you drill a few more holes in your tailgate you should be able to reach 100mph due to less drag.

What's up Tom? Never did get to buy you that beer at the NATS for paying my tolls on the way to the hotel :( . Guess I will have to buy you a case at the next NATS eh? I have spent over 80 hours polishing my rims. How much less drag do you think that net me?

Thank you for the link Mike. You should be able to snag a 12.xx slip with the new TC and a higher setting on the chip.
