drag radials on the back or all around?

i want to shave of a bit on my 60 ft next year, and i have the chance to buy a set of rims
anyway, they come with 315x35x17's bf drag radials.
the fronts don't have tires. i would really like to be able to daile drive the car as well.
as the fronts worn out faster than the back, should it be wise to put a different ''summer tire'' on the front?
will tthat be bad for my 60 ft's times? and jusst what do you think in general

I'm not 100% sure, and people with more exp should be able to correct me if I'm wrong. Drag radials in the back should improve your 60ft times since 65% goes to the rear and 35% to the front. The stock wheels would do fine with a set of DR's on the back and summer tires on the front. Personally I would use a 16" or 15" wheel over a 17". I plan on using my stockers with all 4 DR's and then have a set of show/street wheels/tires.

i know, i wished i got the abbility to use smaller rims. but i got disks all around so i need the clearance

i know, but these rims would also look super cool to stay on. this way i could just daily drive it with the back wrapped in drag radials,. because they last a good more bit than the fronts, and could put some normal tires on front to keep up with the way the drags are wearing out.

The thing I would be worried about, is that MOST drag radials need to be heated up in order to use them correctly. If you cant do a burnout , I wouldnt go drag radials ---

i thought the bf goodrich drag radials were also good in performing cold. ? you can drop the tire pressure to 15psi, and if you want to use them warm you go for 20psi. no?

green dots all the way around with home built front limiters and caltracs is the ticket,1.43 60 for me

that really is amazing! but do you also daily drive with those green dots? it's not like i will be making 2k a year dd it. but i really don't like the idea to have multiple sets of rims and tires.

no I dont now,but a few years ago I did and they are still like new,maybe ask the tire builder what the life is for a daily use,they are very soft and i think hook better than dr,s

I run Nitto drag radials on all four corners they are not as sticky as bf drag radials, but then again i don't like replacing tires every six months as i drive my Ty 3-4 times a week in the summer, i also have

cal-tracs they helped a ton i highly recommend the cal-tracs, i think the nitto is a better all around tire for wear, not as sticky as the bf drag radials all depends on how much street driving you do and how soon you want to replace tires

well. if everything goes following plan i will be the first to try i think/ drag radials in the back 315 35 17, and some normal performance 275 40 17 in front for daily driving an track time.
