JS Design said:My friend who is a S-10 guy, who went to the Atlanta s-10 nats, and then was my co-pilot for nats this year stated it well when I asked him about the difference.
Basically he said, he could barely stand spending 2 days with the s-10 guys, but wouldn't have a problem spending a week with us syty folks. (Imagine what greens knees would like like after a week?).
I think the track setup was perfect, except for the smaller # of trucks, and fewer fast trucks.
Photocopy the setup for next year.
Well, for what it's worth I would like to run my GT just to do it. I hope that I am not the only one there and others will be just as slow as I am (no, I don't wish everyone to run slow). I know I won't be running anywhere close to SyTy's, I just want to take advantage of the oportunity to get a time slip and a little experience.Double-A said:Not to sound mean toward Sonoma GT's, but perhaps there's something there for them instead of having to race us. (Running a stock GT vs a stock SyTy isn't quite fair...but there weren't any other options.) I'd hate to be the only GT at the Nats and stuck running against the turbo'd trucks.
