These trucks are cursed
doin a lil work on the truck past couple days... went through and checked every possible vacuum line and replaced all my check valves, installed KB cold air kit (sy 2882 thanks for the filter! :evil: ) and checked the timing.
truck runs better than it ever has! but im a lil concerned about one thing. my timing is advanced 6 degrees
should i leave it? considering my knock is at an all time low of about 3 with an occaisional split second spike to 8. im just a lil worried about detonation issues and the life of my engine (yes i checked the timing with the brown wire disconnected) if i remember reading correctly the ultimate is set up to run on 93, so i would think leaving the timing advanced would kinda help since i can only use 91?
i took it out on another quick datamaster run with my ultimate set at T1-20 on 91oct :-? and i got quite a bit of knock, which is expected with the shitty fuel. but still got a good performance. im gonna toss in some race fuel and hit up the track, and hopefully come back with some improved times.
