Doing something different..

Typhoon
Well in the past I decided to do something a little different by going with a custom orange/black paint job, may not sound so great on paper but it came out decent..

Since my new engine decided to spin a rod bearing I'm saying screw the turbo 4.3 and switcing my interests to offroading.. Why? Because its just as fun and many of my friends are into off-roading. Why the Typhoon? Why not, I already have it and who honestly wants to buy a non-running typhoon.

I really liked the lifted Jimmy w/ Typhoon interior at Hot Rod Power Tour (http://picasaweb.google.com/epixpc/PowerTour2007/photo#5072050057836129810)

Anyways the tires/wheels just arrived and the lift kit is coming in later this week, I'm yanking the motor and stuffing in a carburated 350 my neighbor has sitting in his garage.

Heres it with the new tires/wheels, of course it will look much different once lifted:

I have a 3" body lift kit that I will sell you. PM me for details  :rotf: x10. You have one of the nicest Typhoons around, Why jack it up? You know the rule, you just need to apply it in this case.

You can sell me all the cladding off the truck. Since those tires aren't fitting with the cladding on the truck.

The darkside of SyTy ownership -when it totally pisses you off and your at witts ends, you swap out the motor for a 350 & make it into a mudder.

Re: Doing something different..

If you're lifting it, don't forget the massive windshield visor "wif beemz" and the mullet. Hell, throw on some side pipes and get some of those stick on fake rivets for the fender flares to give it the super off road machine look.

Really, I hope you're joking.

Re: Doing something different..

Hes def kidding in one of the other threads hes asking about a alky resivoir, Im gonna take a guess that he bought a old blazer and is lifting that b/c the lug pattern looks the same. If not then :dropjaw: ill have a good build to copy when my engine blows. :rotf:

Keep it lowered...just take a sawzall and cut into the body so you can fit those bad mofo tires! Dont worry about removing the cladding either...it'll look hawt!
