Sorry for the thread hijack...but I still find that PPG truck so damn cool. I've gotta find the photo I took of the truck coming off the track at Laguna Sega circa 1992.

Thank god they didn't produce them ugly bastards. Prob make our trucks worth even less. Looks like a regular jimmy with the aftermarket step sides you could have bought at any truck stop. We should try and bury this history

Its a prototype. It may have been for testing engine and drivetrain.

But the one I'm talking about I took with my own camera at the race itself. They were giving lap rides (er...I mean, rides around the track) in the truck to lucky folks.

It's a solid truck and should be able to tow a Horse trailer very well.

I'm saying it has a coolant issue (seriously, it's probably a bad gauge), but this stood out to me as odd:

have verified water temps at every part of the cooling system

Not saying it can't be done, just far from a standard diagnostic process...
