Re: Dodge Ram SRT10 +some
I've been hanging around the SRT-10 Forum since last May, when I purchased mine, and this is accurate info.
I really want to run mine this year - hopefully I'll get the time. It certainly feels strong enough, but can be tricky to launch.
Paxton has had a SC kit out for a while now (About ~7K with intercooler). With a decent tune it's good for around another 175hp. With better tuning,, even more.
Hennessey's done a couple Twin Turbo SRT-10 Ram's, but they cost a friggin' fortune!! Here, check out www.HennesseyPerformance.com and your jaw will drop - like mine did.
And yeah, I will admit, it's no match for a Sy/Ty off the line, but it will roll once you get it going. Definitely a fun truck!

I think the best I have heard any claim is 13.1 but they do have some MPH ~106mph, so it wouldn't be advisable for any stock SyTy to tangle with one from a roll. The clutch is also suposedly a weak point and the rear brakes are too large to fit any current drag radial or slicks, so that will hinder them some unless the owner does a brake swap.
