I don't believe there is such a dist with a crank trigger in it. The newer V6 has the crank trigger in the front timing cover with the wheel on the timing sprocket.
I've looked at using the V8 timing cover since they don't have the balance shaft but use the same crank pickup. Then use the V6 crank sprocket wheel. The distributor shouldn't matter if it's V8 or V6, it only has the #1 cam sync in it on the schematics I've seen. They are both easy to install, just line up the dot on the dist drive gear with the dot on the shaft and drop in with the engine at #1 TDC.
I'm not sure if the V8 timing cover will work, but if so...should be the problem solver for the hard to find V6 even fire crank wheel.
The distributor is made mostly of a plastic composite, so it should offer some weight savings :lol:
