YES, there is a difference. 92 uses rear wheel sensors. 93 uses an input from the sensor on the T-case rear output housing.

The 93 system is the one most people don't like the 'action' of.

There is no change to rebuild harness? I take a lot of 93 units but not any from 92 or 91

The harness can be changed. You need to run a wire for the rear speed input from the DRAC to the 10-pin. I'm pretty sure the 92DRAC will work. I know the 91 will not. Ie, you may have to swap the DRAC to a 93-up, and calibrate it to the old DRAC's jumper settings. The pin-outs and wiring diagrams are in the full-coverage Helms manuals. Not in the SyTy supplement.

Can you explane DRAC pls.?

I dont take Hels manuals. Only all Syty + Chilton + Haynes......

It is the plastic box in these pictures.

Digital Ratio Adapter Controller. It buffers and conditions the VSS input for output to various systems that require vehicle speed input. ECM, Cruise, RWAL or 4WAL, Speedo, and transmission on electronic-transmission vehicles.

Ok. Thanks. DRAC is be mounted near ECM.

It works!!

93 Ty takes an additional cable (dark green) from DRAC to ABS Unit.

Thanks Dave!
