Datamaster Requirments???

Got a old laptop (about 3 years old) just sitting here and I was thinking about rebuilding it just for a Datamaster and supporting programs....
My question to you guys is what programs are needed to run the datamaster and also what kinda memory space is needed....I think its currently running windows98. Am I guna have to install a newer windows??

*Someone just list me an ideal set up to be running

from the datamaster website and my own thread:

DataMaster software runs on the Windows 98, 2000 or XP operating systems and needs 800 x 600 minimum display resolution and one free serial port if data recording is used. It is recommended to have a 133 MHz or better Pentium-class system and at least 64 MB of RAM. DataMaster software requires 10 MB disk capacity for the first installation, and 3 MB for each additional version installed.
