I forgot I had a back up narrow band O2 sensor, that didn't help. Checked vacuum lines again, verified timing mark is correct, verified timing again, checked for vacuum leaks again, all which did nothing for me.

Fivetodrive, if you could burn me a chip, name your price.

I don't have a chip for your combo. I have one close. I can burn it andsend it outto you to do some testing but I wouldn't trust it.

I would ask hood for a reburn..

You have a moates adapter right?

I don't have Moates, I need the code59 stuff badly. Just sent Hood my chip, he burned it, I hooked it back up. I'll send you a PM right now.

I bought a moates adapter years ago for someone who wanted me help tune their truck. They changed their mind after I bought the adapter. I think I have the adapter. I could burn you an EEPROM and send it with the adapter. I could program a 50# ultimate bin, code$59 base bin or hood could email the bi that is one your stock memcal.

Worked on the Ty some more. With the help of Dave, I was able to do the ECU relay mod. Took it for a test drive, and the first pull was pretty good, not too hard on it though. Second pull was on it a bit harder and I experienced the loss of power again. Crap, so I did another pull and it did it again. Pulled over and I remembered that the TruBoost has a safety feature built in that you set the alarm pressure, and if it sees more than that for 2 or 3 seconds, it just open the solenoid. So I shut the solenoid off, and did a quick takeoff and it worked great. I had to come home for the wife to go to work, but she got called off for awhile. So Ill go back out again here soon and datalog it to make sure it is working the way its supposed to. I was still hitting 17.5psi, and that felt pretty good. Adjustable actuator, so I can get back up to 20psi again, if everything is still good. Ill post an update after I take it out again.

I don't understand why it pulls timing so much when I get into it. That last log shop some knock retard on the first pull, but nothing after that. I took it out for a ten mile or so drive and there were times it ran good, and times it didn't.

Apparently it is my old ass tuning computer being out of date. I used another computer and email them to myself.

I looked over your datamaster files. Nothing jumped out at me as being problematic. The BLM flag was set to 0 which I think means that it doesn't adjust your fueling per the O2 sensor. ( I don't regularly use Datamaster.) I think an adjustable fuel pressure regulator would be helpful for your truck. I can't remember if you told me if you did a fuel pump either.

The short bursts of acceleration are not that useful for analyzing a data log. The ECM transitions from Part throttle to Power Enrichment mode take a few samples to stabilize. After that everything also happens so fast that the data logging sample rate misses most of the short burst. A better data log would be part throttle boost run from like 40-75mph with some steady state driving at speed before that (like a minute or so).

I'll get a log with all of that later today or tomorrow for sure. I personally haven't done a fuel pump yet, but it sounds like my old Wally that I had in my Eclipse. Ive been wanting to do an adjustable fpr, I'll have to get one now.

Fivetodrive sent me a chip and it idles much better, no more exhaust popping. There is some issues with it, at least it idles right!

Problem is solved! Dave was right about the tune. A member sent me some chips with the Ultimate tune on them and it still wasn't running right. I was sent the Moates adapter but I didn't know you were supposed to plug the factory chip into it, so it was going into super safe mode. Jason showed me how it's supposed to be and now it pulls like a freight train again. Now I need to get a cam made and throw on my L35 heads and increase the boost again, only running 18psi right now.
