DataMaster Log

Anyone out there have a second to give me their take on a datalog? I've got about 5-6 passes on it and looking to get a read on the overall condition. The only issues I have is a slight hesistation when you hit the throttle and it seems to lose pull at high rpm without losing boost. Maybe I'm just used to my old Supra lol!

Truck is stock other than down pipe and exhaust, pressure regulator with stock injectors, and an old mid 90's Hyptertech tune.

PM me and I guess I can email it to you unless there's another way, Thanks for any help guys!

Re: DataMaster Log

What is your base fuel pressure set at. Your injector duty cycle is 146% at high rpm, which means they are running out of their ability to deliver the required amount of fuel. Your timing looks very conservative, but your intake air temps are above 200, which is high. Is your intercooler pump hot wired?

Re: DataMaster Log

Using stock injectors with upgraded fuel pump and regulator. I'm going to get a FP guage and let you you know.

After this log I discovered the stock pump was burned out. Have since replaced the pump and the lines were alread run through the fender.

Anyone else had a chance to taken a look at the log? I can tell I need to go to #50 injectors.

I agree you're running lean, need to get a gauge on there and verify pressure is going up with boost.

Is your I/C pump hot wired?? The lower the IAT temp. the better IMHO.

If your injectors are original they might need replacing, but if your truck is stock, they should be able to keep up.

I saw th IAT after the run and found the IC pump was burned out and replaced after log and is now hotwired. I believe the injectors are stock. What baseline pressure should I run? It does seem like it struggles at high rpm until it shifts and throws you back.

Stab it and steer it
Re: DataMaster Log

With vac line disconnected from FPR fuel pressure (stock) should be 35-38 per my manual. It's my understanding that any duty cycle 100% or above essentially means you injectors are open all the time. Remember FP needs to go up 1# for every pound of boost.

Guess I got that one right. Now we shall see about the fuel pump, regulator pressure issue. The stock injectors should be just fine for your mostly stock motor. Do another run after setting the fuel pressure.
