Datamaster 101 Help!

I don't have a sy or ty anymore but im very interested in knowing and understanding how to read datamasters file. I have tons of old recordings from my ty and have read a lot from the help section of the program but when it comes down to the numbers I don't know what's right and wrong. where can I learn everything? I want to start tunning my own vehicles with hp tuner but need to understand things first. im saving money now to buy hp tuner and want to learn the 101 with datamaster.

Also where to buy the proper cables?

These three books will give you a good overview and some good in-depth info on tuning... I'd start with those as the help sections in the programs will just tell you how to navigate the program (DM).

Cables can be had from a number of SyTy vendors... I got mine from Detroit Turbo.

have all of these and for understanding engine management and tuning them, the one from Greg Banish, "Engine management and Advanced tuning" is a good choice.. So if you not want to buy all of these that one should be one the top of your list.
